There's a really great video in here!

But first things first

As we ease into Thanksgiving week, I want to take a big breath with you: the kind that softens the shoulders, unclenches the jaw, and reminds us that gratitude isn’t just a holiday theme… It’s a practice.

Like yoga, gratitude becomes a practice when we turn our attention toward it with intention. It is a practice of noticing what is already supporting us, instead of what we think is missing. Sometimes it is as simple as pausing to name one thing that feels good, nourishing, or steady in this moment (maybe this newsletter?🤷‍♀️😜).

Gratitude does something powerful when we let it. It is funny how the simple act of paying attention can shift the feeling of an entire day, a week, or a whole season. It could even change your life!

Speaking of things that could change your life

Last week in class, we had a very enthusiastic tumble of blocks (one might call it thunderous), and it reminded me of one of my favorite videos. It is a choir performing “Africa” by Toto, using only their bodies to make thunder and rain. It is magical. I promised I would share the link, so here it is:

May it bring a smile, a shiver, or maybe a grin of “I can’t believe she remembered to/actually did send this out!”

From the bottom of my heart

Thank you to everyone who donated to our annual Food Drive. Because of your generosity, we were able to give over $2,000 in food and funds to Provision Outreach. That is community in action. I couldn’t be more grateful. Go team!

And another thank you to everyone who came out for our first class back at Spring Creek Garden Center, and to all who stayed after for happy hour. Hand Craft Yoga absolutely took over that back patio, and it filled me right up.

I cannot wait to do it again, so please save the date for our next Flow & Feast on Wednesday, December 10! RSVP for Yoga at the garden by clicking the button below:

And while you are marking your calendar, be sure to save the date for our upcoming Saturday Yoga and Sound Bath Experience on December 6! It will be a beautiful way to reset and refill. Let us know you're coming by clicking the button(s) below:

With so much gratitude…

For each of you, for showing up, for giving, for growing, and for being part of this practice, on and off the mat. I am so grateful. For you.

With love,

Monica

...in the food drive! Just in case you're not able to bring items to our collection bin by Wednesday, there are still some easy and meaningful ways to support the food drive from wherever you are. Provisions keeps an Amazon Wish List stocked with the items they most need, and anything you purchase is shipped straight to them. It’s an easy way to make sure your contribution lands exactly where it’s needed. They also accept online donations through their website. Monetary gifts are incredibly...
