It's nearly timeTo snack and chat with Winnie’s Book Club! Our official meeting is coming up next Thursday, October 9, from 12 to 2 pm! We’ve been diving into In the Woods by Tana French, and I can’t wait to hear everyone’s thoughts. This month we will gather at one of our members’ homes, located in the neighborhood just behind the Fischer Market and QT. As always, we like to emphasize the snack part of the "snack & chat". So if you’d like to contribute to that spread, click the button below to let us know what you're bringing:
Speaking of delicious...If you love a good farmers market (and I know many of you do), come visit me and my friend Jordan at the Rainbow Gardens (off Thousand Oaks) this Saturday, October 4, from 10 am to 2 pm for the Sprout’n About SA Market! We’ll be at the Four Six Farms tallow table, sharing handmade, small-batch goodies straight from the land. It’s the perfect excuse to stroll, sample, shop, and soak up some early fall vibes. I’d love to see a few familiar faces stop by and say hello! One of my favoritesIf you're on this mailing list, there's a great chance you've heard from the "Prayers for Healing" book. Please enjoy this one from the other day(Sept 28)... it's one of my favorites: Here's to rising up joyful, like a bird, and to falling without regret, like a leaf. With love, Monica |

Bring your theories, and maybe a snack (add your dish to the sign up HERE)… and let’s dive into this twisty story together on Thursday, October 9 from 12–2 pm. If you haven’t RSVP’d yet, please do so by clicking the button below and I’ll make sure you receive the address for...

It's a seasonal shift that invites us to pause, notice the turning of the year, and feel into our own balance between light and dark, energy and rest, effort and ease. The equinox...
A story from the hot studio Yesterday, I found myself in a crowded hot yoga class. Just behind me was a woman with her teenage daughter. Throughout the class I noticed little bursts of giggles between them… the daughter rolling her eyes dramatically as her mom toughed it out. I couldn’t help but smile, because that was me in 2004, sitting next to my own mom in a hot yoga studio in San Antonio. After class, I bumped into them again and felt compelled to share my story. I told them that hot...
