I am having way too much funI'm in the home stretch preparing for the Slumber Party to kick off this Wednesday… so today, we are short and sweet. Just some dates to add to your calendar (and a couple to take off!). Without further ado… Meet me at the garden next week!Join me on Wednesday, May 6, at Spring Creek Garden Center for Happy Hour Yoga from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. After an all-levels flow, feel free to head over to The Desert Spoon for good food and good company! While we're talking about the garden center, go ahead and mark your calendar for May Brunch Yoga, too! May 29th will be here before we know it. Winnie's Book Club lives on 💛On Thursday, 5/7, we’ll be gathering at Mammen Family Public Library from 12 - 2 pm for Winnie’s Book Club, chatting about Wild Dark Shore. I am still in the midst of all the suspense... it is quite the page turner! If you’d like to bring a snack (always encouraged 😊), click the link below to let us know what you’re planning to bring.
A quick heads up for the following week…We will not have our regular Monday/Wednesday classes at Trilogy on 5/11 or 5/13. But we do have a couple of fun ways to connect later that week: On Thursday, 5/14, we’re back for Average Joe Singing Club at St. Nicholas Church from 12 - 1pm. If that doesn’t make you want to sing your heart out (and maybe cry a little), I don’t know what will. Last, but not least!Cherie and I are so excited to invite you to our upcoming Yoga + Sound Bath Experience on Saturday, May 16, from 1 - 3 pm at Inspire Dance Studio! This space is on the smaller side, which means there's a limited number of spots. So if this is calling your name, don’t wait too long to sign up! Come for one or stay for both. The Sound Bath is $20 (you can pay Cherie directly when you arrive), but if you come for yoga, too, it's only $15!! Win-WIN! You can RSVP for any (or all!) of the above events by visiting the link to my calendar below.
Hope to see you somewhere in the mix 💛 With love, Monica (reply to me HERE) |
I just want to say thank you. Your messages, your hugs, your stories, your memories of Winnie... I have felt it all. Truly, thank you for loving her right alongside me. I am also being reminded (once again) of something we all know, but can only really understand by living it: time heals all wounds. Not all at once, not in a straight line, but little by little. More and more, the memories feel sweet instead of sharp. Alas, life keeps moving forward. Keep moving forward! This Friday, we have...
"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." ~ A.A. Milne (Winnie the Pooh) It is with deep sadness and immense gratitude that I share the news that Winnie the Poodle has taken her final relaxation. It was a peaceful passing, but my heart is broken. We spent 15 amazing years together, full of fun, love, and unforgettable memories. Winnie the Poodle12/5/2010 - 4/12/2026 Many of these memories took place with you, our yoga community. Winnie was a bonafide "teacher's...
Two chances to practice 4/8 In addition to our regularly scheduled Wednesday Noon class (at Trilogy Hill Country), we are back for happy hour yoga this week at Spring Creek Garden Center from 5:30 to 6:30 pm! And the best part: I just got word that The Desert Spoon rolled out a brand new spring menu 👀 So if you need a little midweek reset... this is your sign. Move your body, take a breath, and then stay after for a drink or a bite and check out what’s new. Happy hour specials run until 7....
