I just want to say thank you.Your messages, your hugs, your stories, your memories of Winnie... I have felt it all. Truly, thank you for loving her right alongside me. I am also being reminded (once again) of something we all know, but can only really understand by living it: time heals all wounds. Not all at once, not in a straight line, but little by little. More and more, the memories feel sweet instead of sharp. Alas, life keeps moving forward. Keep moving forward! This Friday, we have Brunch Yoga at Spring Creek Garden Center at 10:30am. Come start your day/weekend in the best way: a little movement, a little sunshine (or rain!), and the option to stay and share a meal together after.
What are you doing this Saturday? This Saturday, 4/25, I’ll be part of The Beauty Boost’s Wellness Edit event here in San Antonio (11am-3pm). I’ll be speaking (with a mic! on a stage!) and hosting a workshop, and I would absolutely love to see you there... surrounded by other like-minded women exploring all the different ways we care for ourselves. About the event, from the website: Tickets are $37, and you can use my code SAVE5 to, you guessed it, save $5!
Our Staycation is next week! There are still a couple of spots open. If it has been on your mind, this might be your moment to say yes. Yes to yoga, art-making, community, sound bath, really good food, and a few sweet surprises along the way. I’ll be honest... this gathering could not come at a better time for me. There is something really special about stepping out of the normal routine and being together in a more intentional, close-knit way. I am so looking forward to it! If you feel the pull, I would love to have you there.
Let's look ahead...I have a few notes for your May calendar:
Thank you, again. I look forward to seeing you soon! With love, (reply to me HERE) |
"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." ~ A.A. Milne (Winnie the Pooh) It is with deep sadness and immense gratitude that I share the news that Winnie the Poodle has taken her final relaxation. It was a peaceful passing, but my heart is broken. We spent 15 amazing years together, full of fun, love, and unforgettable memories. Winnie the Poodle12/5/2010 - 4/12/2026 Many of these memories took place with you, our yoga community. Winnie was a bonafide "teacher's...
Two chances to practice 4/8 In addition to our regularly scheduled Wednesday Noon class (at Trilogy Hill Country), we are back for happy hour yoga this week at Spring Creek Garden Center from 5:30 to 6:30 pm! And the best part: I just got word that The Desert Spoon rolled out a brand new spring menu 👀 So if you need a little midweek reset... this is your sign. Move your body, take a breath, and then stay after for a drink or a bite and check out what’s new. Happy hour specials run until 7....
They say trying new things is good for us It builds resilience, confidence, and reminds us that we can do things that feel unfamiliar (even uncomfortable) and be just fine. So last week, I tested this theory. I joined my sister-in-law for something she has been wanting to try: a trapeze class. If you were in class on Wednesday, you already know how that went... I was so sore, and yes, I complained about it quite a bit 😄 But even with all of that discomfort, it truly was a great experience. It...
