This past weekend has been heartbreaking for so many in the Texas Hill Country. The recent floods left behind heavy losses - lives, homes, histories - and while words can’t fix any of it, sometimes even the smallest act of care can help soften the weight. If you're looking for ways to help, here are a few options you can trust:
This Saturday: Yoga + Sound BathIf you’re in need of a gentle nervous system reset, you’re invited to join us this Saturday, July 12, at Trilogy Dance Center in downtown Bulverde. We’ll begin with an all-levels yoga class from 9:30 to 10:20 am, followed by a restorative sound bath with Cherie from 10:30 to 11:30 am. A sound bath is like a meditation you can feel. It utilizes singing bowls and other instruments to gently slow brainwaves and help the body transition out of stress mode. All you have to do is lie back and let the sound wash over you. Come for one or stay for both. Either way, you’ll leave feeling refreshed and ready for the weekend. Click the button below to sign up for the yoga class:
If things feel heavy, start small. Take a deep breath. Drink some water. Give yourself time to take the next step. With love, Monica |
