I've been doing a little positive scheming lately😏One of my favorite activities is dreaming up adventures for our community. And two of them are starting to feel so real that I can't keep them to myself anymore. The first is a cozy 2-night getaway coming at the end of September, close enough that you won't need to board a plane. The second is a 4-night adventure planned for January that will have us venturing out of state. That's all I'm saying for now. 🤐 If reading this gives you that little tingle of excitement (or if you're simply curious what I've got up my sleeve), I'd love to add you to my VIP Retreat Interest List. By joining the VIP list, you'll be the first to receive all the details, see the itinerary, and have the opportunity to reserve your spot before registration opens to everyone else. I have a feeling these are going to be pretty special. Other special things you're invited to...Before I get too carried away with all my positive scheming...mark your calendars for these opportunities to gather a little sooner: Brunch Yoga | Friday, July 31 Save the Date: Aqua Yoga | Tuesday, August 4 Save the Date: Yoga + Sound | Saturday, August 15 And let's not forget...Book Club | Thursday, July 16 Average Joe Singing Club | Thursday, July 30 No Trilogy Classes 7/20 & 7/22 Until next time...Thanks for being the kind of community that makes dreaming up new experiences so much fun.💚 With love, Monica (reply to me HERE) |

As much as I love what happens in the classroom, it's stories like this that I really treasure. Don't get me wrong, I genuinely love witnessing the way you honor your bodies, connect with your breath, and light up when...
Full disclosure: Until this week, I had never once questioned why pirates wore eye patches (have you?). I just assumed it was part of the job description. Lots of sword fights, probably. Maybe the occasional parrot-related incident. Then a friend introduced me to the theory that pirates may have worn eye patches so that one eye remained adjusted to darkness, allowing them to move more easily below deck. There isn't enough evidence to know for sure, but many historians think it's a reasonable...
"The root of joy is gratefulness. It is not joy that makes us grateful; it is gratitude that makes us joyful."- Brother David Steindl-Rast I heard this quote last week, and it has really stuck with me. I spend a lot of my mental energy in a state of joy and gratitude as it is, but the quote got me curious: which comes first? The chicken or the egg? (a tale as old as time😆) So I've been using it as a sort of awareness check. Throughout the day, Im noticing the subtle difference between waiting...
